Lots of fun and the atmosphere was great. Was disappointed because I went to buy a little kid hat and they we're all out. Other than that, I had a great time. Facilities are well maintained and the food was good for ballpark fare.
Second game since the Braves left. Great setup. Much more kid friendly. From mascots running around meeting kids throwing t-shirts into the crowd and shooting tee shirts into the crowd. Live band before the game and apparently. They do fireworks show often and great show. A must go for very cheap. Staff is amazing as well.
This is a great place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends or family. The atmosphere at the ballpark is lively and fun. There are fun contests with fans on the field between innings and themed nights to help draw crowds. In general the restrooms and other facilities are fairly clean and well maintained. Prices are reasonable making it more affordable for families than things like amusement parks or Major League games. The quality of the food can be hit or miss and you can't bring your own, so eating before or after the game might be a better choice.
The seating is only around the infield extending a bit past third base and first base. The more stadiums we visit, the more constrained I feel at The Diamond not being able to walk around or sit at a bar next to the field like many other stadiums. The atmosphere is great and employees have also been nice though.
My family and I had a great time watching the Squirrels play at the Diamond. There's fun things for the kids to do. The players sign autographs, especially for the kids. They also throw baseball's to the kids. The staff give away shirts and other goodies. The ticket prices are cheap. Overall, it's a great place to go relax and enjoy a game.
