The prices are usually the lowest in town for Asian produce, seafood, meat and other Asian foods, but the fresh food quality isn't too good. However, I did go there on a weekday once and the quality was actually decent.There is a great soy product company that constantly offers great prices every week. My favourites are their fake flavoured meat made of tofu, bean curd blocks and bean curd strips.The cashiers are really nice. If you don't want any plastic bags, you'll have to ask before the cashier starts scanning products. They almost automatically pack them in plastic bags. All bags needed are free. Additional ones cost money.Parking is almost always available because of roof parking.
I mainly only come here to buy snacks and packaged foods. Customer service absolutely sucks and there's a huge disconnect between the consumer and employees. Like other reviews had mentioned, English is not their strong suit and can make it difficult to communicate with someone. I've read multiple articles where this supermarket sells food that is not fresh. I highly recommend you to double check what you are buying before you purchase it or not even touch their 'fresh' produce/meat. Hours are good though and there's tons of parking.
I love how Foody World offers a wide variety of East Asian goods. The products are well stocked and organized. I wish there were more parking space but all in all a great place to pick up grocery needs.
Always slow lines at cashier. A few of them are polite and nice tho. Resonable prices.
Decent grocery. Not as good as H Mart. I walked quite a way to this store because they had a deli serving hot food but it was closed with dry goods stacked in front of it. Cashier didn't seem to care. Not very friendly. Not horrible just not great.
