Cool spot to hang out and watch the planes. The globe is fun to climb on for kids (and some grownups!) of all ages.
More airports need to build parks near airports like this. Great spot for plane spotters and aviation geeks. Bring lunch and either have a picnic or sit in your car watching the planes taking off above you.
A great place for plane spotting on the south side of YVR. Typically, this is the side where small planes are landing for the south terminal. Great spot for kids to run around as well, as there is a large globe to climb on, and a small runway to walk on that mimics the real one!
