I often visit Parker Place for the auto parts accessories stores and the food court. From Extra wide angle mirrors, HID to LED headlights replacement bulbs to car fragrance. It is an older mall. The mall was built in the early 1990, so the inside is dated and not as fancy or big as the newer malls, but I like it because I do not have to walk miles to meet my shopping needs.
This is a mall to go to not if you are wanting to buy a lot of stuff because it is rather small. Just come here for a quick bite to eat and to maybe buy a few items on your shopping list. Good mall that is organized, but if you want a better selection of stores, the best bet would be to just come to Aberdeen mall instead. 5th star will be added if the staff clean the mall a little more. Organized, but littered.
Great little hidden food court with lots of options. Busy and seating is very limited at lunch ti.e. parking is brutal but that is the same everywhere near there.
Food court great for authentic Chinese food. Great value too!
Needs some reno to refresh shopping experience. When Parker Place first opened in the 90s it was a HUGE deal. They have the cutest Japanese stationary shops, trendy fashion stores, bubble tea, cool shoes, quality authentic Chinese food and more. As the years went by the mall kinda stayed in its 90s glory days. The walls, washroom stalls, store signs and food court all looked worn out. Even though there are a few new stores and one or two hip food court vendors, it is not enough to refresh the 90s deco. Unlike it's neighbor Aberdeen center which was torn down and rebuilt from scratch, Parker Placer feels like it's still running on analog rather than digital. The visitors I see are mostly in their 50s and up. I know a few senior Uncles who love to eat at the food court because "it is the cheapest food court food in the area!". I go there only to meet up with my senior uncle for a quick bite. A positive note is the parking seems to have improved over the years. But I thinks that's because there's less people going there, not that they added parking spots. I would go there again only for the food court, not the stores.
