Cute little restaurant. We had the famous fish and chips and the paella. So good! Nice patio area along the water. Service was a bit slow but I would recommend!
Holy hell this was delicious. Tad pricey, but totally worth it for great seafood. Salmon on fried raman with coconut curry. Thats the one you want. I met an old friend there and ended up staying in excess of 3 hours. Never felt rushed to leave. and our server always made sure we had water whenever we needed.
Nice little restaurant, good view, good service. Unfortunately if you dont eat seafood this is not the place for you. I ordered the burger and unfortunately it was not really good. Very dry and overcooked. Everyone else in my group had the fish and chips and they said it was delicious. The beer selection is good. On a Saturday night reservations are recommended.
This restaurant is not child friendly. We had the worst experience this Wednesday .We have a 3 yr old boy and a 1 year old. After we placed our order the general manager Rob approached our table and asked us to not let out 3 yr old get up from his chair and that he is being too loud.He basically made us feel not welcomed so we asked for the bill and left the restaurant. After we left Rob was talking and making fun of what had just happened with people who were sitting at other tables. We go out frequently with our kids to restaurants and I never had anything like this happen to us.I do not recommended this restaurant to people with children.Very disappointed
I have been going to the Blue Canoe for years and the food is always good. The service is usually excellent with the exception of a few times where the wait for the food to arrive was ridiculous with no communication from the servers. My husband and I went for diner last night around 7:30 we were seated and then no one ever came to take our drink order. My husband waved down one of the girls twice and nothing we were completely ignored. We ended up going to a close by restaurant where we were served quickly with decent food. Disappointed and not sure if this is the new norm for Blue Canoe.
