The stars represent the consistency of the food - it doesn't differ from day to day or even from Canada to the US. Their food and drink prices are very inexpensive, especially the kids menu. It's all inclusive for kids and adults with bread, soup or saladn and desert as well as tea or coffee. The service is always good. The food is not gourmet but have never had an issue and as I said you know what to expect every time. This particular location has some historic items and it's close to the steam clock, so make sure to stop by for a visit before or after lunch or dinner!!!
My dining experience at this Old Spaghetti factory location was satisfactory. Nothing more, nothing less. While we were immediately seated by the extremely kind hostess who chose to accommodate us first over the obnoxious couple that came before we did, every other part of our experience was just plain average. While our server was courteous, it was difficult to get his attention when we needed our drinks refilled. The pasta was fine, nothing too spectacular about it. In fact, I think the downtown location makes their dishes better. Also, why the hell were there were so many insects and flies flying around everywhere? One landed on our plate of leftover calamari. Overall, subpar everything. This place could take a few tips from the downtown and New West locations.
Ambience very nice. Food was delicious. The serving lady from Turkey was very nice. She took care of us very well. A good place to spend your afternoon.
We knew that there would be a longer waiting for a big group of us during Saturday so the 30-minute waiting was fine. When we got seated, we noticed that the table and some utensils were dirty so we asked the staff to give us some clean utensils (though she gave us the wrong utensils...) cleanliness needed improvement. Ordering food was fine. However, perhaps its Saturday and the staff who served us had a very long day, when she put down our plates, we heard big sound of platessss hitting the table many times. The spaghetti with cream sauce and the Lasagna were a bit dry. Its not our first time to visit this place but we were quite disappointed with the food and service. When we ordered dessert, some of us ordered vanilla ice cream, some ordered chocolate ice cream and some ordered mixed ice cream. We were not happy that the staff didnt inform us theres no plain chocolate ice cream when she took our order. She only explained to us when we asked right after she put the mixed ice cream on our table. She could have told us beforehand then we would have make another order. We ordered some tea and coffee. Coffee was very nice but the water provided for the tea was not hot. TEA needs HOT WATER. These may be just some tiny little things to some people, yet its the manner and service that matter.An Update after the meal and the feedback I sent to the restaurant:I really appreciate the follow-up the company did for us. Ive received a call from the old spaghetti factory (Richmond) to understand more of what happened the night we visited there. Ive also received some gift cards from their staff. Im very thankful for how serious the company takes for customers feedback. We will definitely go visit the restaurant again to see the improvements.
Very popular Italian restaurant. The menu is nothing to extraordinary but there is deal called Its all included where you can get: A Meal Unlimited Bread Ice Cream All for like $13. Ice tea refills are free and staff was proven to be really friendly. My and a friend shared a dish but the waiter still both game us ice cream! Food is good, but through experience never order anything that has noodles that are filled like ravioli. Its counted through prices, so dont expect too much. Had a great time and decent food
